About
Julie Kidd was born and raised in Colorado. She attended Colorado State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science in 1999 and her DVM in 2004. After she graduated with her DVM she stayed at CSU where she studied epidemiology, the study of herd health. Her focus was in adult dairy cow mortality and Johnes Disease. After leaving CSU she worked in a small animal emergency hospital in Denver, then a small animal general practise in Eaton, Colorado.
She has been married for five years to another Colorado native, Andy. They have two children, Dalton and Raeleigh.
They live in Eaton with their dogs, Elbe, and Sassy, and several farm animals. Julie enjoys the outdoors, wildlife photography and bowling with her family.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Mobile Veterinary Practitioners.
